Very sad news – Jesse Rooke is dead. The well loved custom motorcycle builder sadly died yesterday.
Jesse Rooke death has thrown the gokarting, racing and motorcycle world into deep mourning. They have indeed lost a legend!
Before Jesse Rooke dead, he was a famous American customizer who makes unique motorcycles. Jesse began his career at age 15. First he raced BMX, then fascinated cross, skateboards and even wrestling.
However, he had a terrible motorcycle accident that paralyzed Jesse – for three years Jesse Rooke could not play sports, and for two years out of these three, he was not able to walk. This was a long term problem that caused Jesse to rethink his life.
And he refused to be defeated. He loved motorcycling, and so he began to design and build a prototype racing motorcycle Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki.
With experience on prototypes, one day, Jesse Rooke took the key decision of his life; he decided to devote himself to customizing and his new “Rooke Customs” was born.

It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to a longtime friend . RIP Jesse Rooke . Your impact in the gokarting , racing and motorcycle world will not be forgotten . This is really a shitty deal . I took you to Germany with me for a indycar race when 9/11 happened , something that we will never forget , another time I was your mechanic for a go kart race and I left your wheels loose and they all fell off on the first lap , we laughed a bout it for the next 20 years . I will miss you my friend.
