Meet The Man Who Lives With 60 Snakes (Horrific Photos)

Albert Killian, from Florida, is a big fan of snakes. In his bedroom, there are king cobras, Egyptian cobras, and other poisonous species of snakes. Killian's home is like the snake pavilion in a zoo. He loves his snakes even though he has been bitten by them for over 100 times.

Pictures from African waterhole shows how a predator repeatedly misses killing its prey

Australian amateur photographer Jenny Andersen captured the moment a jackal missed it's dinner. The jackal was lying in wait for the flocks of birds that fly into a watering hole in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, on the border of South Africa and Botswana. The jackal leaped into the watering hole in hot pursuit of the birds but wasn’t quick enough and was forced to retire, wet and hungry, to await another chance.

Unbelievable! Wildebeest Manages To Escape Death From The Teeth Of A Crocodile

This is the moment a wildebeest managed to dodge the deadly teeth of a giant crocodile by making a last-second leap to safety. The dramatic escape was captured on camera as hundreds of wildebeest swept across a river in the Masai Mara National Reserve in ‪Kenya‬. Pictures show a huge crocodile launching a surprise attack by springing out of the water and lunging at one of the migrating animals with its jaws open. But incredibly the wildebeest jumps up and twist its body away at the last moment - and somehow manages to bound off unscathed.

Pictures taken show hungry lions gnawing at the wheels of the truck during an hour-long attack. The dramatic images were captured by safari tour guide Emmanuel Bayo, from Arusha, Tanzania earlier this month. "The lions are very hungry in the park and hadn't had a kill for a while," said Bayo, explaining the reason why the lions conducted the abnormal attack.

"Battle Of Survival": Hungry Lions Overpower Baby Elephant After Separation From Its Herd (See Photos)


A helpless calf found itself at the centre of a dramatic stand-off between its herd and a pair of hungry lionesses. This stunning series of photographs, taken in the Ruaha National Park in Tanzania, captures the moment the herd of elephants desperately tried to protect their calf.

Two herds of elephants had been drinking from the water, when the baby elephant appeared to become separated from the rest of the group as it tried to cross the Mwagusi River. But two keen-eyed lionesses were quickly on the hunt, drawing ever closer to the terrified calf

After making their first attack, the lions injured the calf. But the adult elephants heard is cries of distress and came rushing to the rescue. Although they tried desperately to help the calf to safety, the baby was too badly injured and couldn't walk. After a tense war of wills between the two groups of animals, the lions eventually claimed victory and brought down the exhausted calf.
