A woman who lives in Ikorodu Lagos had to live for 9 years with a large tummy that made her look pregnant until surgery was recently carried out and a large mass was discovered in her body. The woman who hawks pure water in traffic had reportedly been to several hospitals but they refused to carry out surgery to remove the fibroid because it was at the base of her heart and proved to be too risky. Help came for the woman when Dr Benjamin Oluwatosin Adesoji Olowojebutu operated on her in Lagos and removed the 7.9kg fibroid from her body.See graphic photos below.
