Enugu, the coal city of Nigeria warmly received Sigma Pensions on Saturday the 13th of April 2019 for the second edition of their Walk to Live campaign, which had its maiden edition in the capital city of the nation, Abuja in December 2018. The campaign is geared towards promoting a healthier lifestyle amongst Nigerians to guarantee that we all attain retirement and enjoy our pensions in good health. Over 300 residents, customers and well-wishers came out on Saturday the 13th of April, to participate in the Second Edition of the Sigma Pensions Walk to Live. The walk was for 6 kilometres which began and ended at the popular Michael Okpara square, Independence Layout. The atmosphere at the warmup session before the walk was full of energy, excitement and pure anticipation, with everyone present eager to embark on the 2 hour walk in support of healthy living and in support of Sigma Pensions. According to the Managing Director, Sigma Pensions, Dave Uduanu:“It is important that we live long enough and retire to collect our pensions. This is why the Sigma Pensions’ Walk to live is so important and dear to us”The walk was organized to sensitize the people of Enugu about Sigma Pensions, the benefits of having their retirement savings account with Sigma Pensions and also to promote a healthier lifestyle amongst everyone present so they can eventually enjoy their pensions in good health.One of the Participants of the walk and a customer of Sigma Pensions, Mr Emmanuel had nothing but praises for the organizers of the event and he expressed how light and flexible he felt as the walk was concluded. He went on to add that he is ascertained that he won’t be needing to see a doctor for months because of the walk he partook in. Sigma Pensions truly stormed Enugu with this forward-thinking initiative and helped to remind residents that “No goal was ever met without a little sweat”.
