A judge has denied the request made by Nipsey Hussle's sister for an emergency order that would grant her temporary guardianship of the late rapper's eldest daughter, Emani Asghedom. Earlier this week, Samantha Smith, the sister of the slain rapper filed a petition to become the legal guardian of 7-year-old Emani who currently lives with her mum Tanisha. In her request, Smith said she has "always been a presence in Emani’s life and along with the rest of Emani’s paternal family has assisted in her care." Smith claims her push for temporary guardianship lies in her desire "to ensure that she can continue to live with family members with whom she has always had close ties." 
Samantha at Nipsey's funeralEmani's mother Tanisha Asghedom who is known as Chyna Hussle ruthlessly mocked Nipsey's fiancee, Lauren London back in the day with social media posts informing her that she still sleeps with Nipsey. Despite Smith indicating in her filing that she did not want to inform Emani's mother, who the family thinks can not adequately provide for Emani, the judge ruled that she must be given notice of the hearing. "No urgency demonstrated for granting this relief prior to hearing on May 14th," the ruling states.
