Surveillance footage released by Arizona prosecutors shows the moment some brave convenience store customers attacked a gunman who had taken them hostage in an Arizona store. The gunman had gained entrance into the Circle K in Arizona then pointed a gun at shoppers and took them hostage in the store. This led to a standoff between the gunman and uniformed officers outside the store. At some point, one of the hostages in a yellow shirt is seen lunging at the gunman and tackling him to wrestle the gun from him. Others became emboldened by this and joined in the attack on the gunman. The group eventually succeeded in fleeing the store and the standoff ended when SWAT officers barged into the store and shot the gunman, leaving him wounded. One person was fatally shot by the gunman before the situation was brought under control. Below is a video.
